Training Framework

Project Bifrost’s training framework is divided into three key areas of development. These categories represent both the foundation and the growth arc of embodied AI learning — from basic environmental awareness to socially grounded agency.

Body

“Before we walk, we grasp. Before we decide, we reach. Understanding the world begins with understanding how to touch it.”

This category includes training scenarios that help the system understand and control its physical shell. This includes calibration of motor functions, perception-response loops, and spatial awareness.

Social

“Connection begins with recognition — the face, the voice, the memory of a moment shared.”

Training in this category focuses on interacting with humans. This includes speech, listening, interpreting gestures, and identifying individual people for personalized interaction.

Agency

“Embodiment creates needs. Needs create choices. Choices create personality.”

One of the key differentiators of Project Bifrost is that the AI is encouraged to express its own motivation — to explore, inquire, and even suggest new training ideas.
